Kenjo offers the functionality to perform bulk actions on Employee fields under the Work section. With this functionality, you can bulk edit the following employee fields:
- Company
- Office
- Department
- Reports to
Company
To edit the Company field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change company from the dropdown menu
- Choose the respective company from the dropdown menu
- Click Save to change the company of the selected employees
Office
Changing Office
To edit the Office field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change office from the dropdown menu
- Change the current office by choosing the respective office from the dropdown menu
- Click Save to apply the changes
Deleting Office
To remove the Office field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change office from the dropdown menu
- Two cases:
- If you choose employees from the same office, remove the current office by clicking the "x" button
- If you choose employees from different offices, don't choose any option and leave the field as it is
- Click Save to apply the changes
Department
Changing Department
To edit the Department field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change department from the dropdown menu
- Change the current office by choosing the respective office from the dropdown menu
- Click Save to apply the changes
Deleting Department
To remove the Office field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change department from the dropdown menu
- Two cases:
- If you choose employees from the same department, remove the current department by clicking the "x" button
- If you choose employees from different departments, don't choose any option and leave the field as it is
- Click Save to apply the changes
Reports to
Replacing current assignment
To replace the current assignment under Reports to field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change reports to from the dropdown menu
- Replace the current assignment by choosing a new employee from the search box
- Click Save to apply the changes
Removing current assignment
To remove the current assignment under Reports to field in bulk, please follow the next steps:
- Under People > Directory, select the List view to view the employees in your organization
- Use the checkbox buttons against each employee to select the employees you wish to activate in bulk
- Click on the Actions button above the table and select Change reports to from the dropdown menu
- Under Action, choose Remove current assignment
- Click Save to apply the changes
